Without clean water, children and families are exposed to serious health risks such as waterborne diseases, poor hygiene, malnutrition, and repeated illness. The lack of safe water also affects daily life, education, livelihood, and dignity, as many families are forced to travel long distances just to collect water for drinking, cooking, and washing.
Clean water changes lives. It protects health, restores dignity, and gives communities a stronger foundation to live, learn, and grow.
In Nambiri and Nangayiza villages, Uganda for example, families walk 2–4 km every day just to collect unsafe water from rivers and surface sources. This water is used for drinking, cooking, and bathing, exposing communities to serious health risks.

Through HUMAM Relief’s Emergency Clean Water Appeal, we aim to:
