Inauguration of Masjid Al Eido

Inauguration Of Masjid Al Eido

This masjid was once scarred by bullet holes and visible destruction, the prayer hall of the Masjid Al Eido in Jabal Akrad, Latakia has now been fully restored and reopened for the local community through the generous contributions of Malaysians and the dedicated coordination of HUMAM Relief.

The launching was officiated by the Governor of Latakia, Mohammed Othman, symbolizing the revival of religious life and Islamic heritage in the area after a prolonged period of inactivity.

The event was further honored by the presence of the Director of Awqaf, Khaled Amr, and Member of the Regional Executive Office, Khaled Abu Ali, alongside regional directors from Latakia and Hafa.

This collaborative achievement demonstrates how cross-border humanitarian solidarity can restore houses of worship and strengthen local communities.

It also highlights official recognition at the Syrian government level of continued efforts toward post-conflict recovery and rebuilding.

Heartfelt appreciation goes to all Malaysians for their generosity, prayers, and unwavering trust. Your support has enabled the mosque to once again serve as a center of worship, unity, and community for the ummah.
